The Trading House
Golden Sea General Trading was founded in 2009 in Al Souk Al Kabir — Bur Dubai's historic textile quarter, where merchants have traded silk and cotton across the Creek for generations.
From our premises in the souk we select, consolidate and export fine silk goods, cotton fabrics and finished textiles for wholesalers, retailers and designers in the United Kingdom — combining old-souk relationships with modern export practice.
Our Goods

Charmeuse, chiffon, dupion and habotai silks by the bolt — sourced from established mills and graded before shipment.
II.
Combed cotton fabrics, voiles, poplins and finished cotton textiles for garment makers and homeware trade.
III.
Scarves, shawls, home linens and made-up pieces, prepared to buyer specification and packed for retail.
IV.
Mixed consignments consolidated in Dubai and shipped by sea or air freight to the United Kingdom.

Every bolt is inspected and graded by hand in Dubai before it is offered — we sell nothing we have not seen ourselves.
Full commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin with every consignment. Clean paperwork, clean customs.
Prices agreed are prices honoured. Fifteen years in the same souk is a reputation we do not spend lightly.
